Oil and gas companies' short-term expansion plans 2021
Gazprom has over 16 billion barrels worth of oil equivalent hydrocarbon resources under development as of 2021. This figure only includes those projects where production is expected to commence in the next seven years, of which 52.5 percent would be unconventional hydrocarbon production. By comparison, U.S. oil supermajor ExxonMobil has a short-term expansion size of 7.4 billion barrels.
