Global sea level rise contributions by 2100, by scenario
By 2100, thermal expansion was estimated to be the most significant contributor to the rise in global sea level of 19 centimeters under a 1.5 degree Celsius warming scenario. This was followed by melting glaciers and ice caps contributing to nearly eleven centimeters' rise of sea level.
