U.S. average fraud attacks on e-merchants 2021

E-commerce merchants in the United States reported, on average, more than 800 fraud attacks per month in 2021. That is more than double the figure recorded the previous year. However, the average number of successful monthly fraud attempts only saw a marginal increase compared to the notable rise in the number of attempts.
