Wheat production in Morocco 2020, by region and type
As of the 2019/2020 crop year, soft wheat production in Morocco amounted to nearly 18 million quintals. The region of Rabat - Salé - Kénitra accounted for almost six million quintals, the largest production registered in the country. On the other hand, durum wheat was mainly produced in the Tanger - Tétouan - Al Hoceima region as of the same year.
