In 2021, approximately 7.2 million people entered (or re-entered) employment in Japan. Among the newly hired people who utilized placement agencies and similar methods for job hunting, the highest number found the job through job ads. It was also common to seek assistance in job seeking from the public employment agency, widely known as Hello Work.
