As of 2020, meat production in Morocco amounted to around 1.18 million metric tons. The production decreased compared to the previous year, when it stood at roughly 1.39 million metric tons. In 2020, white meat accounted for 635 thousand metric tons of the production, followed by red meat at 541 thousand metric tons.
