Leading countries in LNG exports in Africa 2022

Nigeria led the exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Africa as of 2022. The country exported 19.6 billion cubic meters of LNG that year. Algeria followed, with an export volume of 14.4 billion cubic meters. Overall, LNG exports from Africa slightly decreased in 2022 in comparison to 2021.
