Car population by type of fuel in Singapore 2013-2022
In 2022, petrol cars still largely dominated the car population in Singapore, with a total of 558,729 vehicles. This proportion tends to slightly decrease over the period but remains the most used car type. Singapore aims to phase out internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and have all vehicles run on cleaner energy by 2040.
