Health-care demand in Mexico in 2021, by health care need
According to a survey carried out among people with health needs in Mexico in 2021, the most demanded health care services were related to acute infections, with around 48 percent of the respondents who stated requiring this health care service. In that year, chronic diseases accounted for 21 percent of the health care demand among respondents, while for acute non-infectious diseases health care was required by around 14 percent of people surveyed.
