Alcohol consumption risk levels were assessed against the Australian Guidelines to Reduce Health Risks from Drinking Alcohol (the Guidelines), updated in 2020 from the National Health and Medical Research Council. According to the Guidelines, ‘to reduce the risk of harm from alcohol-related disease or injury, healthy men and women should drink no more than 10 standard drinks and no more than 4 standard drinks on any one day'.

The financial year in Australia runs from July 1 to the June 30 the following year. For example, the 2021 financial year commenced on July 1, 2020 and ended on June 30, 2021.
