Tuition fees for public medical school Indonesia 2022

In 2022, the highest operational tuition fees per semester for studying medicine at the University of Indonesia were 20 million Indonesian rupiah. This tuition, however, does not include a one-time administration fee around 25 million Indonesian rupiah and other additional fees and only applies to students whose parents' monthly income was more than 10 million Indonesian rupiah and who were selected through regular path SBMPTN. In Indonesia, tuition fees are largely determined by the financial resources of the students' parents. Regular Indonesian students usually budget around 100 million Indonesian rupiah or seven thousand U.S. dollars for their first year at one of the Indonesia's top public medical schools.
