Foodstuff packaging as a share of plastic packaging waste SEA 2018, by country
In 2018, food and beverage wrappers and containers made from plastic made up the highest percentage of plastic packaging waste per person in all surveyed Southeast Asian countries. In Vietnam, food and beverage plastic packaging accounted for 64 percent of all plastic packaging waste per person.
