Share of junior high school students Indonesia 2022/23, by gender
In the school year 2022/23, approximately 72.68 percent of junior high school students in Indonesia were male. The share of female students was significantly lower at around 27.32 percent. In the same period, there were around 9.89 million active junior high school students in Indonesia.
