Motivations of U.S. Americans who work remotely to choose workation 2021
The leading reason why remote workers from the United States were going on workations was to recharge their mental and emotional batteries according to a December 2021 survey. Based on the study, more than two thirds of survey participants had highlighted the aforementioned reason as their motivation for combining working and vacationing. Notably, only 18 percent of respondents answered that they were doing so to prevent or cope without burnout.
