Global destinations with the most Russian visitors 2021

A study published in March 2022 focused on the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on international tourism. Included was data on the countries with the highest share of Russian visitors between 2019 and 2021. According to the source, Mongolia accounted for the highest share of Russian tourists in 2020 and/or 2021, at 38 percent. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan came second in the ranking, with Russian travelers representing 28 percent of the country's inbound arrivals.
