Accidental opioid overdose deaths drug origin by province Canada 2022

In 2022, around 79 percent of accidental opioid overdose deaths in British Columbia involved only non-pharmaceutical opioids. In comparison, 53 percent of accidental opioid overdose deaths in New Brunswick involved only pharmaceutical opioids.
