Mining production in Morocco 2020, by type
In 2020, barite production in Morocco reached over 500,000 metric tons. Barite accounted for the largest mining production in the country. Salt production followed, amounting to approximately 490,000 metric tons. Other main mining outputs were sodium feldspar and copper.
