Nationality of foreign buyers of residential property in Texas, U.S. 2022
After Florida and California, Texas was the state with the highest number of international home purchases in the United States in 2022. In the period between April 2021 and March 2022, the Mexican buyers accounted for the largest share of international transaction of residential real estate in Texas, with 29 percent of international transactions. In total, Mexican, Colombian, and Indian buyers were responsible for 40 percent of international transactions.
