Net production of hydroelectric power in Morocco 2020, by plant
The net production of hydroelectric power in Morocco amounted to around 1.3 billion kilowatt-hours as of 2020. The STEP Afourer (Afourer Pumped Storage Station) accounted for the largest net production, corresponding to 422.5 million kilowatt-hours. In the same year, Morocco was among the African countries with the lowest share of hydropower in electricity production.
