Sweden: asylum decisions on unaccompanied minors 2022

The total number of decisions on asylum applications from unaccompanied minors in Sweden peaked in 2016 following the high influx of refugees to Europe the previous year. Since then, the number of decisions has dropped significantly, falling to a total of 424 in 2022. Of these, 223 were granted. In 2022, 630 unaccompanied minors applied for asylum in Sweden.
