A 2022 research on hotel projects in the emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) revealed that luxury hotels accounted for 68 out of 118 upcoming hotel projects in the city, equivalent to a share of 58 percent. First-class hotels accounted for the rest with 50 projects. According to the source, approximately half of these 118 planned developments were expected to be finished by the end of 2022.
