In April 2022, the French presidential elections will be held to decide who will govern the country for the coming five years. Prior to the elections, all television and radio channels are ordered to track and reveal the speaking times of each preisdential candidate. The current president of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron (En Marche), had the most speaking time of all candidates at TF1 with one hour and two minutes during the measured period. In second and third position with 47:45 minutes and 46:52 minutes are Marine Le Pen (Rassemblement National) and Valérie Pécresse (Les Républicains).
