Leading strategies used to buy first home New Zealand 2021, by gender
In 2021, about 66.8 percent of female respondents who took part in a survey on financial well-being in New Zealand said they planned to cut back on lifestyle expenses to be able to buy their first home. That same year, around five percent of female respondents said they took out or planned to take out Lenders Mortgage Insurance to buy their first home.
