As of March 2022, approximately 75 percent of online users in the United Kingdom were watching online video content on platforms like YouTube and BBC iPlayer. UK users aged between 18 and 24 years had the highest online video consumption rate, with over 97 percent of users in this age group watching videos online. By comparison, less than five in 10 users aged 65 years and above were watching digital videos.
