Share of online FMCG sales in rural areas Vietnam 2021, by platform
In 2021, Facebook accounted for the majority of online FMCG sales in rural areas in Vietnam, at around 71 percent of online sales. The leading e-commerce marketplace in the country, Shopee, was the second most popular platform based on online sales for these products. On the other hand, Shopee was the most popular channel for online FMCG purchases in urban cities.
