U.S. and Canada independent garden centers: specialty houseplants offered 2021
Out of 250 independent garden centers in the U.S. and Canada polled in March 2021, 36 percent of their owners or managers stated they offered rare or unusual varieties as specialty houseplants. Still in the specialty houseplants category, a significant 32 percent offered beginner or low-care plants. Only six percent offered pet-friendly plants.
