Number of private sector employees in Tunisia 2020, by sector
In 2020, nearly 530,000 people were employed in private enterprises operating in the industry sector in Tunisia. Industrial activities accounted for a significant number of employees in the country. Moreover, around 147,000 people were working in the trade and repair sector, while agriculture, forestry, and fishing activities employed roughly 22,000 people.
