In 2021, the leading reason why consumers around the world shopped in stores was to be able to touch and feel products before buying them. Approximately half of surveyed shoppers placed this factor in their top five. Many people also liked shopping in-store because they could acquire products right away or because they simply enjoyed the in-store experience.
