Composition of household loans in the EU 2021
Both in the eurozone and in the non eurozone area, housing loans in the European Union represented over three quarters of the total in 2021. Meanwhile, consumer loans represented slightly more than 11 percent of the total in both country groups. Housing loans reached 81 percent of the total in the non-euro area, and 78 percent in the eurozone.
