Workers who have lost jobs due to COVID-19 South Korea 2021, by employment type
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in December 2021, about 33.3 percent of non-regular workers stated that they had lost their jobs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, while only about eight percent of regular workers reported the same. The survey showed that non-regular workers were more affected by the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
