Value premium of ESG real estate assets 2021

The majority of industry experts in a 2022 survey expected ESG-compliant real estate assets to outperform benchmark assets in the next three years. Nevertheless, between 22 and 28 percent of the respondents projected a minor price premium of less than five percent. Offices made the most convincing case for ESG among all asset classes, with about one in five respondents projecting a price premium of over 10 percent.
