Among Easter candy, U.S. consumers spend most on chocolate eggs. During the seven weeks leading up to the Easter holidays in 2021, 486.6 million U.S. dollars were spent on such products. In comparison, jelly beans generated sales of 91.3 million and chocolate bunnies 144.2 million U.S. dollars. In 2021, sales in all categories were up compared to 2020 which had seen lower sales across the board than 2019.
