Czechia: people buying selected categories of goods online 2023

A total of 38.7 percent of Czechs bought clothing or footwear online in 2023. Movies and music were the second most frequently purchased goods online from the selected categories (36.3 percent). There was an increase in most product types compared to the previous year, except for electronic and computers.

Survey for the year 2023 was carried out on 5,959 individual persons aged 16+ and 3,965 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households. CAPI and CATI survey types were used.
