According to a survey on carbon neutrality conducted in the United States in 2022, a majority of adults in the country support the continued use of fossil fuels. Survey results show that 67 percent of respondents support the use of a mix of fossil fuel and renewables, while a smaller share of 31 percent believed the U.S. should phase out fossil fuels completely.
