According to a 2021 survey, around 37 percent of solo travelers from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia planned to travel more consciously and sustainably in the future. Nevertheless, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic years had a significant impact regarding plans to travel more often, with the share of solo travelers intending to travel more frequently in future dropping by more than half in 2021 compared to the previous year.
