Opinion on equal gender treatment in India 2020, by gender
According to a 2020 UN Women survey, the overwhelming majority of respondents in India concurred that it is essential that women should be treated as equals to men, at respectively nine in ten female and male respondents. On the other hand, respectively less than ten percent of male and female respondents opposed the idea of equal gender treatment.
