Organic agricultural land area in Ethiopia 2020, by crop type
Coffee was the crop with the largest size of land used for organic agriculture in Ethiopia in 2020. Nearly 183 thousand hectares were used for organic coffee farming. The total organic area in the country was over 234.6 thousand hectares. In the same year, Ethiopia had 132,851 organic producers, which was an increase compared to 2018.
