Main online fraud issues during checkout according to e-merchants in Canada 2022
In 2022, Canadian e-commerce merchants encountered several challenges related to online fraud in their purchase transactions. The foremost issue was excessive manual order reviews, which 35 percent of surveyed e-merchants identified as one of their company's top three challenges. Coming in a close second were the tasks of assessing fraud risk and identifying malicious bots, with each mentioned by one-third of the respondents as major hurdles in serving customer online.
