Belgium consumers appear to enjoy buying snacks that positively impacts their general well-being and health. In 2016, sales of healthy snacks contributing to the general well-being generated 113.8 million U.S. dollars, and 122.1 million U.S. dollars in 2019.
On the other hand, snacks that helped manage people's health were not as successful over the same time period, even though their sales value increased over time. In 2016, the sales value amounted to 16.9 million U.S. dollars, and in 2019 to 17.6 million U.S dollars.
