Opinions of IT security professionals on most worrying cyber attacks 2021

According to a survey of IT practitioners conducted in November 2021, approximately 47 percent of respondents reported that the most concerning type of cyber attack in their opinion was personally identifiable information (PII) harvesting. Account takeover and credential stuffing attacks ranked second, with 45.5 percent of the surveyed IT security professionals expressing their worry regarding this type of cyber threat. Less than 30 percent of the surveyed professionals reported considering the denial of inventory attacks as the most worrying online security threat.
