In July 2022, there were 79 thousand refugees from Ukraine working in the Mazovian province. In total, 358 thousand Ukrainians found work in Poland. Ukrainian citizens have free access to the Polish labor market - they no longer need permits or declarations to work in Poland legally. The only formal requirement rests with the employer. Within 14 days of taking up employment by a Ukrainian citizen, they must notify the labor office about this fact.
