Netflix and Amazon original content titles produced in the UK 2016-2021
From 2016 to 2021, Netflix has dramatically increased its number of UK-produced titles offered on the platform. The subscription-based streaming service provided just four such titles in April 2016. As its emergence into the international market, and the UK market in particular, grew, so did its number of UK-produced titles, reaching 123 titles by April of 2021. Amazon Prime's growth in UK-produced titles has been equally steady but much less rapid, going from five titles in 2016 to 27 in 2021.
