Sawn timber production in Indonesia 2016-2020
In 2020, the total sawn timber production in Indonesia was around 2.58 million cubic meters. The forest product industry has played an important role in the Indonesian economy, particularly the plywood industry and to a lesser extent also sawn wood industry. Over the last decades, Indonesia has been a major exporter of tropical wood products around the world.
