According to a survey conducted among marketers in the United States in March 2022, 46 percent of respondents said they bought TV inventory upfront to maintain customer portfolio management (CPM) levels with networks. The same share of respondents said they bought TV inventory upfront to take advantage of a media brand's unique upfront settings.
