Young Spaniards identifying as a feminist 2017-2021, by gender
As of 2021, the share of young women in Spain who identified as feminist (67.1 percent) was more than double that of young men who considered themselves as such. Moreover, while the percentage of feminist women grew consistently since at least 2017, it fell by 4.5 percentage points between 2019 and 2021 in the case of male youths. This same survey also revealed that almost 19 percent of young Spanish men believed that gender inequality in the country was small or very small, and another 8.6 percent claimed that such inequality did not exist.
