Inflation in Central Africa was projected at three percent in 2022, the lowest in the African continent. The rate remained stable compared to the previous year, while it reached five percent in 2020. Since 2010, the average inflation rate in the region was highest in 2017 at 10 percent. Moreover, in Africa the inflation was highest in East Africa as of 2022.
