In the financial year 2020/21, the passenger revenue on public transport in Northern Ireland amounted to approximately 78.4 million British pounds, a year-on-year decrease of 56.8 percent amid the COVID-19 pandemic. During the same period, the revenue from passenger receipts of the Ulsterbus accounted for 65 percent of the total public transit fare revenue. The Ulsterbus is the operator of the bus services outside Belfast.
