The 50 biggest state-owned investors in infrastructure in the world 2022
As of May 2022, the largest state-owned investor worldwide by assets under management in the infrastructure sector was ADQ or the Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding PJSC. ADQ managed almost 75 billion U.S. dollars worth of infrastructure investments, which were mostly in the UAE and included utilities, energy, and transport. The second largest was Saudi Arabian-owned PIF, or the Public Investment Fund, which managed infrastructure assets valued at 66 billion U.S. dollars and was one of the largest sovereign wealth funds globally.
