As of the third quarter of 2022, according to a survey on the use of social media for brand research, 54.7 percent of internet users between the ages of 16 and 64 years in South Korea responded that they searched for information on at least one social media platform. Among the social media channels, social networks were ranked as the most used channel selected by 21.2 percent of the users.
