Share of U.S. adults with a dental visit in the past year in 2019 and 2020, by sex
A survey conducted in the United States in 2019 and 2020, asked respondents if they had a dental visit within the past 12 months. In 2019, around 65.5 percent of adults reported to have had a dental visit in the past 12 months, while this rate decreased to 62.7 percent in 2020. Between men and women, it was observed that the percentage of women with a dental visit was higher than men in both 2019 and 2020.
